TV anime Lycoris Recoil marked its fourth anniversary since the start of broadcast on July 2, 2026. To celebrate, a fresh visual of Nishikigi Chisato and Inoue Takina in their DA summer uniforms has been unveiled, along with the announcement of a special live stream event featuring the voice cast.
Directed by Shingo Adachi in his first directorial role—known for character design and chief animation direction on hits like Sword Art Online and the Working!! series—Lycoris Recoil follows the exploits of two agents from the secret organization DA (Direct Attack). Chisato is a free-spirited optimist, while Takina is a cool and efficiency-focused partner, working together to prevent crimes before they happen.
The newly released visual shows both characters wearing the summer uniform of DA, with a bright and refreshing look.
In addition, a live stream event titled “LycoReco Produce 4th Anniversary Stream by Anzai-san, Wakayama-san, and a Special Guest!” has been scheduled for August 9, 2026. The broadcast will air on the official Aniplex YouTube channel. A lottery will also be held, offering free admission to the event venue for a select number of applicants who register via the official form within the entry period.
During the event, Anzai-san and Wakayama-san will share the latest collaboration information and introduce a special guest, along with other new updates.
Furthermore, goods featuring the new summer uniform visual will be sold at Comic Market 108. The lineup includes acrylic stands and graphic T-shirts, with full product details to be announced at a later date.
As Lycoris Recoil enters its fifth year, fans can look forward to more developments and merchandise reveals in the near future.
