Summer anime Tsuihou Sareta Tensei Juukishi wa Game Chishiki de Musou Suru (The Banished Reincarnated Heavy Knight Dominates with Game Knowledge) has released the synopsis and preview cuts for its first episode, titled “Heavy Knight Erma,” which will air on July 2, 2026.

Tsuihou Sareta Tensei Juukishi wa Game Chishiki de Musou Suru is an isekai fantasy that begins when the protagonist Erma, born into the Edvan count family—a lineage of “Sword Saints”—manifests the “Heavy Knight” class, considered a defective class. He is unjustly banished and stripped of his position as next head of the family. However, at that moment, he regains his past life memories and realizes that this world is exactly the same as the VR online game he was deeply invested in during his previous life. Knowing that the Heavy Knight is actually the strongest class, Erma sets out as an adventurer, using his game knowledge to efficiently conquer this world.
The story originates from a web novel serialized on Shousetsuka ni Narou, which ranked first in the 2022 annual overall ranking. The manga adaptation, serialized in Young Magazine after appearing on YanMaga Web, has surpassed 4 million copies in cumulative circulation. The TV anime is directed by Yokomine Masaaki at GoHands. The cast includes Ootsuka Takeo as Erma Edvan, Wakayama Shion as Luce Rubis, and Abe Natsuko as Maris Edvan.

Born into a noble family, Erma receives the Heavy Knight class—called a defective class—during the Rite of Blessing, and is banished from the Edvan family.
However, Erma realizes that this world is the very game he played in his past life.
