The first-ever “Medalist” exhibition is currently touring nationwide, and now a long-awaited stop in Aichi—the very setting of the story—has been officially announced.
About Medalist
“Medalist” is a manga by Tsuruma Ikada serialized in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine. Set in the world of figure skating, it follows the journey of skater Endo Inori and her coach Akeboshi Tsukasa as they aim for Olympic gold. The first TV anime season aired in 2025, the second season began in January 2026, and a theatrical film covering the All Japan Novice Competition—where Inori faces her greatest rival, Ookami Hikaru—is scheduled for 2027.
Exhibition Highlights
The exhibition features newly drawn illustrations by Tsuruma Ikada created specifically for the event, along with iconic scenes from the original manga, recreations of the story’s world, and curated video highlights from the anime. It is designed to let visitors experience both the appeal of “Medalist” and the beauty of figure skating.
For the Aichi venue, new displays from the second anime season and additional merchandise will be available for purchase.
