McDonald’s Japan is teaming up with Sanrio’s beloved character Cinnamoroll for a new Happy Set lineup that turns mealtime into a pretend-play shop experience. The “Happy Set Cinnamoroll” will launch nationwide (excluding some stores) from July 10, 2026, for a limited time.
The set includes six different toys themed around cafes and restaurants, all designed to encourage role-playing as shop staff or customers. Through this imaginative play, children can develop social skills and emotional understanding.

Two Waves of Toys
The first wave, starting July 10, features three items: the “Omiseyasan Box” (Shop Box), the “Magical Oven,” and a Cinnamoroll mascot charm. The second wave begins July 17 and includes a “Cash Register,” a “Mogu Mogu Kitchen Car,” and a “Drink Machine Sticker Stand.” From July 24 onward, the third wave offers one random toy from the full set of six.
The Magical Oven lets kids pretend to bake sweets, while the Drink Machine Sticker Stand allows them to pull out stickers. These activities help build interest in daily eating habits and fine motor skills.
The mascot charm can be attached to bags, letting children imagine Cinnamoroll’s world even when out and about.
In-App Mini Game
During the promotion period, McDonald’s official app will feature a collaboration mini-game called “Cinnamon Friends no Happy March Match.” Fans are encouraged to check it out alongside the toy lineup.
Availability and Details
The Happy Set Cinnamoroll will be available from July 10, 2026, for approximately four weeks, while supplies last. Each toy is given at random and cannot be exchanged. The set is also offered alongside a “Paw Patrol” Happy Set with six different toys.
