During the Crunchyroll Showcase panel at Anime Expo 2026, the upcoming television anime adaptation of Kyousuke Motomi‘s Dengeki Daisy manga received its main cast announcement and a teaser promotional video. The series is scheduled to premiere in 2027.

Kyousuke Motomi serialized the shoujo romance comedy manga in Betsucomi from May 2007 to October 2013. Shogakukan published the 16th and final volume in February 2014.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in July 2010 and published the 16th and final volume in April 2015.
