The summer 2026 anime Saijo no Osewa: Takane no Hana Darake na Meimonkou de, Gakuin Ichi no Ojousama (Seikatsu Nouryoku Kai Mu) wo Kakure nagara Osewa suru Koto ni Narimashita (commonly shortened to Saijo no Osewa) has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for its first episode, titled “Kanpeki na Ojousama” (The Perfect Young Lady). The episode is set to air from July 4, 2026.

Story So Far
Based on the light novel series by Sakai Yūsaku, published by HJ Bunko (Hobby Japan), with a manga adaptation by Mizushima Sorahiko serialized on Comic Fire, Saijo no Osewa is a romantic comedy. The story begins when poor high school student Tomonari Itsuki is accidentally caught up in a kidnapping incident involving Konohana Hinako, the heiress of Japan’s largest financial conglomerate. In the aftermath, Hinako suddenly appoints Itsuki as her exclusive caretaker.

On the surface, Hinako appears to be the perfect young lady everyone admires. In reality, she is completely incapable of taking care of herself—unable even to change clothes alone. Bound by the constraints of her prestigious family, she must maintain the facade of a flawless heiress. Itsuki decides to secretly support her, ensuring her lazy side remains hidden from the world. As he diligently tends to her needs, Hinako begins to rely on him completely, leading to a sweet love story that transcends their master-servant relationship.
