The Magic Knight Rayearth (2026) anime received a world premiere panel at Anime Expo 2026, where additional cast members, staff, a second key visual, and a promotional video were unveiled. The new adaptation of CLAMP‘s magical girl manga is set to premiere on October 7 at 11:45 p.m. on TV Asahi’s “IMAnimation W” programming block.

The anime is directed by Umemoto Yui at E&H Production, with series composition by Murakoshi Shigeru, character designs by Watanabe Satomi, and music composed by Kajiura Yuki, Ozawa Takumi, and Terada Shiho.
CLAMP serialized the original manga in Nakayoshi magazine from November 1993 to February 1995, followed by a sequel manga that ran until March 1996. The series was first licensed in English by Tokyopop in 1997, later by Dark Horse Comics in 2009, and most recently by Kodansha USA in 2019 with two hardcover box sets.
