A limited-time pop-up shop for the anime series A Certain Scientific Railgun T is set to open this summer. Titled “A Certain Scientific Railgun T POP UP SHOP ~Vacation~,” the event will run from August 1 to August 16, 2026, at the Shinjuku Marui Men 8F event space in Tokyo, with an online sale on the Hobby Stock web shop running concurrently from August 1 at 12:00 noon to August 16 at 23:59.
The shop features brand-new illustrations drawn specifically for the event, with a “vacation” concept. Characters Misaka Mikoto, Shirai Kuroko, Uiharu Kazari, Saten Ruiko, and Shokuhou Misaki are depicted enjoying a summer getaway, dressed in shorts, mini skirts, and other cute seasonal outfits.
A wide range of original merchandise will be available. Highlights include a “Chara Fine Graph” — a high-definition art print using premium art printing for a translucent, high-quality finish — as well as B2 tapestries, slim tapestries, acrylic stands, can badges, mini shikishi boards, clear files, acrylic plates, die-cut stickers, and rubber mats. The rubber mats feature a non-slip rubber backing, making them ideal for use on desks or tables.
For every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent on eligible products, customers can enter a lottery for special prizes. The prizes are: A Prize — an A4 visual acrylic plate (vacation ver., 1 type); B Prize — a big acrylic stand (vacation ver., 5 types); and C Prize — an illustration card (vacation ver., 10 types). Additionally, shoppers who use or present an Epos card at the Shinjuku Marui Men location will receive one extra lottery entry.
A Certain Scientific Railgun T is the third season of the popular TV anime series based on the spin-off manga by Kazuma Kamachi and Chuya Kogino, itself derived from the A Certain Magical Index light novel series. The story follows Misaka Mikoto, the “Railgun,” as she tackles incidents in Academy City.
