What Character Comes to Mind When You Think of the Color “Yellow”? We’re Running a Reader Survey! Deadline is July 3rd

Following our annual tradition, Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader survey titled “What character comes to mind when you think of the color ‘yellow’?”. The deadline is July 3rd.

July 14th is “Sunflower Day”.

This day commemorates the launch of Japan’s first weather satellite, Himawari 1, on the same date in 1977.

Sunflowers, known for their large yellow blooms, are one of the most iconic plants. Fields of sunflowers, completely bathed in yellow, are a scene often depicted in films and other media.

Yellow is also a highly popular image color for characters. Whether they exude a bright presence like the sun, possess special abilities manipulating lightning or light, or simply wear yellow-themed outfits and items, a wide variety of “yellow characters” exist depending on the work.

Following our annual tradition, Anime! Anime! is conducting a reader survey titled “What character comes to mind when you think of the color ‘yellow’?”. Please provide the character name and the title of the work in the free-response format.

Basic information such as gender and age are optional, and you are welcome to answer without providing them. Please feel free to participate!
