Fans of the Mobile Police Patlabor series have a new treat on the way. Pia Corporation has announced the release of Mobile Police Patlabor Shiba Shigeo Pia, a special fan book dedicated to the iconic mechanic Shiba Shigeo, set to hit shelves on August 5, 2026.
The book is the latest in a line of character-focused volumes following Izumi Noa Pia and Goto Kiichi Pia. This time, the spotlight is on Shiba Shigeo, the beloved engineer of the Patlabor team. The cover features an exclusive new illustration by Takada Akemi, drawn specifically for this edition.
To celebrate the release of Mobile Police Patlabor EZY, the book comes with special bonuses: postcard versions of the covers from the previous Izumi Noa Pia and Goto Kiichi Pia books, as well as an A3 poster showcasing Shiba Shigeo’s most memorable scenes and quotes.
