Get ready, fans of classic anime! The beloved TV anime Yuu Yuu Hakusho is joining forces with the select shop FREAK’S STORE for a special collaboration. This exciting partnership is bringing forth a line of T-shirts featuring bold designs of protagonist Urameshi Yuusuke and his companions.

About Yuu Yuu Hakusho

Yuu Yuu Hakusho is based on the battle manga by Togashi Yoshihiro, which was serialized in “Weekly Shounen Jump” from 1990 to 1994. The story follows the protagonist, Urameshi Yuusuke, who dies in an accident but is resurrected as a Spirit Detective. Along with his companions, Kuwabara Kazuma, Kurama, and Hiei, he battles evil yokai and grows stronger. The series garnered immense popularity not only in Japan but also worldwide.

The TV anime adaptation aired from October 1992, running for 112 episodes, and became a signature work for the animation studio Pierrot (now studio Pierrot). More recently, a live-action drama adaptation was released on Netflix in December 2023, bringing the classic story to a new audience.

The Collaboration T-Shirt Collection

Now, the iconic characters of Yuu Yuu Hakusho, including Urameshi Yuusuke, Kurama, Hiei, and Kuwabara Kazuma, are appearing on original T-shirts thanks to this collaboration with FREAK’S STORE. Each design brilliantly captures the unique personalities of these memorable characters.

The collection features five different items. Leading the charge is the ALL STAR TEE, which gathers the main characters from the series. There’s also the Kurama TEE, featuring visuals of his powerful Yoko form. The Hiei TEE showcases multiple expressions of the fiery swordsman, while the Urameshi Yuusuke TEE captures the protagonist striking a cool pose with his hand near his mouth. Finally, the Yuusuke & Kuwabara TEE depicts the dynamic duo in a lively, action-packed scene.

Each T-shirt features the characters prominently displayed on a black base, resulting in a truly impressive collaboration collection.

Availability

Reservations for these exciting T-shirts are currently open at the official FREAK’S STORE online store, “Daytona Park,” as well as on “ZOZOTOWN” and “RAKUTEN FASHION.” Shipping is scheduled for early July. The T-shirts are available in three sizes: S, M, and L. Each shirt is priced at 6,996 yen (including tax).
