Manga ‘Munou na Nana’ Concludes Ten-Year Serialization

Loose Boy and Furuya Iori‘s manga Munou na Nana (also known as Talentless Nana) has concluded its ten-year serialization. The final chapter, the 122nd, was published in the August issue of Shounen Gangan magazine on Friday.

The psychological thriller series began serialization in Shounen Gangan in May 2016. Square Enix released the 14th compiled volume in December 2025, and the 15th and final volume is scheduled for release this September.

In North America, Crunchyroll handled the digital English release until December 2023. Afterwards, Square Enix‘s Manga Up! service took over in April 2024.

A 13-episode television anime adaptation produced by Bridge aired during the Fall 2020 season. Crunchyroll streams the anime with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages.

Synopsis

On an isolated island, a school houses the future heroes of the world. The students, all possessing inhuman powers known as “the Talented,” train to eliminate the wicked “Enemies of Humanity.” Two transfer students, Kyouya Onodera and Nana Hiiragi, arrive. While Kyouya refuses to discuss his ability, Nana charms the class with her supposed mind-reading talent. She takes a particular interest in Nanao Nakajima, a reclusive student bullied for allegedly lacking an ability. As Nana grows closer to him, her actions place Nanao in a position he had always dreamed of, if only briefly.
