Moomin is a beloved fantasy series created by Finnish author Tove Jansson, featuring the round, white Moomin family and a cast of whimsical characters such as the traveler Snufkin and Little My. The series has been cherished worldwide. In Japan, the TV anime Moomin first aired in 1969, followed by the new series Tanoshii Moomin Ikka in 1990.
