Summer vacation has finally arrived! If you’re looking for places to go, why not check out some Pokémon-related events? 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of the franchise, and there are plenty of happenings. This article introduces three events that have just started or are about to begin.
【Yokohama Minatomirai】Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary – Search for Sleeping Pokémon!
The Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary event, titled ‘Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary 横浜でみっけ！ポケモンねがおリサーチ presented by MITSUBISHI ESTATE GROUP’, is being held at Yokohama Minatomirai until August 23. The event celebrates the third anniversary of the sleep tracking app Pokémon Sleep.
At Landmark Plaza, you can find Dedenne (
A stamp rally is also available. Pick up a stamp card at the ‘Ekima Hiroba’ on B4F of MARK IS Minatomirai, near the central ticket gate of Minatomirai Station, where a Snorlax greets you. Collect stamps at various spots in Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minatomirai.
At Landmark Plaza, a giant sleeping Snorlax appears.
At the message corner, you can write messages on berry-shaped cards and decorate around Snorlax to celebrate the app’s third anniversary together with Pokémon.
At the event space on 3F of Landmark Plaza, a ‘Mega Pokémon Gacha’ offers a random chance to win a Pokémon Sleep design muffler towel from four types.
At MARK IS Minatomirai, a ‘Pokémon Sleep Shop’ sells original event goods, including 30th anniversary items and Pokémon Sleep 3rd anniversary key visual goods.
Don’t miss the ‘Pokémon Sleep Drink Stand’ offering four types of drinks inspired by in-game beverages.

【Nationwide Namco Amusement Facilities】Pokémon Anniversary Festival in Namco
The ‘Pokémon Anniversary Festival in Namco’ runs from July 24 to October 25 at Namco amusement facilities nationwide. Large plushies will appear as crane game prizes, including ‘Mechamofu Gutto Plush Eevee Friends – Eevee – Ohirune ver.’, ‘Mechamofu Gutto Plush – Gengar’, ‘Mechamofu Gutto Plush – Pikachu – Bikkuri ver.’, and ‘Mechamofu Gutto Hokkori Iyasareru Plush – Snorlax’.
