TV anime Meitantei Precure! has released the synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 25, titled “Cure Éclair no Shoutai” (Cure Éclair’s True Identity), which begins airing on July 19, 2026 (Sunday).
Meitantei Precure! is the 23rd entry in the Precure series, featuring a “detective” motif and the theme “See, feel, think, and find the true answer.” The story begins when 14-year-old middle school student Akena Anna, living in Makoto Mirai Town, is guided by a fairy named Pochitan and a pendant in her room, time-slipping from 2026 to the year 1999 in Makoto Mirai City. There she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, a 14-year-old girl who aspires to be a great detective. When a case occurs—valuables stolen by the Phantom thief gang—Anna and Mikuru transform into the Meitantei Precure to protect everyone’s smiles through deduction. The question remains whether Anna can return to her original time.
Episode 25 “Cure Éclair no Shoutai” Synopsis
On July 19, the fateful day—the perfume that Jet-senpai has been making is finally completed. Anna and Mikuru deduce that the scent of lily might lead them to the “detective” who lost their memories of being at the Curette Detective Agency. Just then, a notice from the Phantom thief gang arrives.
The notice reads: “Take the world at the true (Makoto) land on the map.” Recalling a map they found on the second floor of the agency, Anna and the others determine that “Makoto no Chi” refers to Land Makoto Tower. They rush to the scene, but Usonowair is already unleashing its power, and the area is covered in an aura of lies (Uso no aura).
Anna and the others transform into Precure and confront Usonowair. Among Hoba Kurea, Kurisu Eliza, Kaneda Rei, and Ieiri Shiruku—who is Cure Éclair? At last, the true identity of Cure Éclair will be revealed!
Episode 25 of Meitantei Precure! will air on July 19 (Sunday) at 8:30 AM on ABC TV and TV Asahi’s 24-station network nationwide.
