
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Masakuni Igarashi‘s Mayonaka Heart Tune (also known as Tune In to the Midnight Heart) manga revealed an additional cast pair and a second teaser visual for the second season on Saturday. The new season is set to premiere in 2027.
Voice actresses Ami Koshimizu (Ookami to Koushinryou) and Kaede Hondo (Majo no Tabitabi) are joining the cast as Riina Yamabuki and Mito Yamabuki, respectively.
Akira Nagasaka (Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman.) is serving as the new color designer, replacing Azusa Sasaki (Giji Harem).
Produced by Gekkou, the first season premiered on January 6. Crunchyroll simulcasted the anime with subtitles in multiple languages and an English dub.
Masayuki Takahashi (Buta no Liver wa Kanetsu Shiro) returns to direct the second season at Gekkou. Other returning staff include:

The anime series adapts Igarashi’s showbiz-themed romantic comedy manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in September 2023. Kodansha published the 13th volume on May 15, with the 14th volume scheduled for an August 17 release.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in July 2024 and released the seventh volume on May 5. Kodansha also simulpublishes the manga on its K Manga app and website.
