NANA x Libroaria Perfumes Get Rerelease Due to Popular Demand

Get ready, NANA fans! The collaboration perfumes between the timeless masterpiece manga “NANA” by Yazawa Ai and the cosmetics brand Libroaria are getting a much-anticipated rerelease. These perfumes, inspired by the two “NANA” characters, Oosaki Nana and Komatsu Nana, caused quite a stir upon their initial launch and quickly sold out. Reservation acceptance for the rerelease will begin on July 8, 2025, at 8:00 PM JST on the Libroaria official online shop.

“NANA” is a timeless manga by Yazawa Ai that began serialization in Shueisha’s “Cookie” magazine in 2000 and has been on hiatus since 2009. It tells the story of the friendship, love, setbacks, and growth of two young women both named “Nana”. The story begins when the two Nanas, who share the same age and name, coincidentally meet on a train heading to Tokyo – one chasing after her boyfriend, and the other aiming to become a professional musician. They later have an unexpected reunion that sets the stage for the rest of their intertwined lives.

The series has been adapted into two successful live-action films starring Nakajima Mika as Oosaki Nana and Miyazaki Aoi as Komatsu Nana. It also received a TV anime adaptation produced by Madhouse and directed by Asaka Morio, which aired from April 2006 to March 2007.

The collaboration perfumes with Libroaria were inspired by the distinct personalities of Oosaki Nana and Komatsu Nana. They received an overwhelming response exceeding expectations immediately after their release, leading to consecutive sell-outs at POPUP STORES across Japan and the official online store. Due to continuous requests from fans who wished to repurchase or couldn’t acquire them the first time around, the rerelease has been decided.

The lineup features two scents: “No.7 Nana ~Inspired by Nana Osaki~,” which captures the essence of Oosaki Nana’s gentle solitude, and “No.8 Hachi ~Inspired by Nana Komatsu~,” inspired by Komatsu Nana’s sweet loveliness.

Each fragrance is crafted to express the charm and individuality of its respective heroine. The perfume bottles and book-shaped packaging also incorporate elements from the story, allowing you to feel as though you’ve stepped into the world of “NANA” when you wear the scent. Additionally, a special premium box containing both “No.7 Nana” and “No.8 Hachi” as a luxurious set will also be available.

The price for individual bottles is 14,300 JPY (tax included), and the 2-bottle set is 28,600 JPY (tax included). Reservations will open on July 8, 2025, at 8:00 PM JST on the Libroaria official online shop. Shipping is scheduled to begin sequentially from late July 2025. These are limited quantity items and sales will end once stock runs out, so fans should definitely check them out sooner rather than later. Please note that there is a purchase limit of two items per customer for each type of product.
