The TV anime adaptation of Shin no Seijo de Aru Watashi wa Tsuihou Saremashita. Dakara Kono Kuni wa Mou Owari desu (True Saint I Was Exiled, So This Country Is Over) has been confirmed for a 2027 broadcast. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual, main staff and cast comments, and celebratory illustrations from the original creators have been released.
Originally published on the novel platform Shousetsuka ni Narou, the series has surpassed 1.5 million copies in cumulative circulation. The story follows Eliane, a saint who is suddenly accused of being a false saint by her fiancé, First Prince Claude, and exiled from the kingdom. Tired of Claude’s emotional abuse and infidelity, Eliane decides to use this as an opportunity to start anew. During her journey, she meets Nigel, a prince from a neighboring country. After he saves her from a dire situation, she is invited to live in his castle, where she begins to demonstrate her true powers. This is a heartwarming restart fantasy about an exiled saint finding happiness.
The anime is produced by Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab, the studio known for the dynamic action and detailed character appeal in Tensei Shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu. The animation aims to bring out the charm of each character, from Eliane’s cuteness to Nigel’s kindness.
The teaser visual depicts Eliane and Nigel standing on a castle rooftop, accompanied by the tagline: “Exiled, and now I’m happy!” It hints at the joyful journey ahead as the exiled saint and the neighboring prince find their path to happiness.
The main cast has also been announced. Tazawa Masumi voices Eliane, and Yashiro Taku voices Nigel. Comments from both actors have been received.
