A collaboration between the original feature-length anime Chou Kaguya-hime! and the TV anime Oshi no Ko has been announced. The first collaboration video brings together Kaguya from Chou Kaguya-hime! and MEMcho from Oshi no Ko.
Chou Kaguya-hime! began streaming on Netflix on January 22. The story follows high school student Sakazuki Ayaha and a mysterious girl named Kaguya as they become active in the virtual space Tsukuyomi. The film had a theatrical run starting February 20, ending June 18, with cumulative attendance of 1.34 million and box office revenue of 2.7 billion yen. Revival screenings featuring a special format will begin on September 18.
In the first collaboration video, Kaguya, a supernova livestreamer appearing in Tsukuyomi, meets MEMcho, a member of the idol group B-Komachi and a popular YouTuber. Kaguya asks MEMcho for tips on how to go viral. MEMcho readily agrees, saying “Of course! MEMcho is a pro at making things go viral!” and proposes a “5-second question knock” — a standard self-introduction challenge where participants must answer questions within five seconds.
Kaguya is intrigued by the idea. MEMcho first demonstrates a perfect answer, packing in content and even a promotional plug. Kaguya learns from this.

Then Kaguya tries, but when the topic turns to her cooking hobby, she ignores the time limit and keeps talking, failing the challenge. MEMcho calls her out, but Kaguya tearfully pleads, saying she just wanted to talk about what she loves. MEMcho then analyzes that Kaguya’s free-spirited nature is itself a talent and charm, and gives her approval. At the end, Kaguya decides to visit MEMcho’s room.
