A new pop-up shop dedicated to the TV anime Golden Kamuy will open at Marui locations in Shinjuku and Kobe. The “POP UP SHOP in MARUI” will run from July 31, 2026 at Shinjuku Marui Annex and from August 15, 2026 at Kobe Marui, offering a range of exclusive merchandise.
About Golden Kamuy
Golden Kamuy is an adventure manga by Noda Satoru serialized in Weekly Young Jump. Set in late Meiji-era Hokkaido, it follows a grand treasure hunt for a hidden Ainu gold hoard. The TV anime’s final chapter began airing on January 5, 2026. The main cast includes Kobayashi Chikahiro as Sugimoto Saichi, Shiraishi Haruka as the Ainu girl Asirpa, and Itou Kentarou as the escape artist Shiraishi Yoshitake. A live-action film, Golden Kamuy: Abashiri Prison Assault Arc, starring Yamazaki Kento, was released on March 13, 2026.
New “Fighting Backs” Illustration Goods
The event’s concept is “fighting backs” (戦う背中), featuring a newly drawn illustration. A variety of new goods will be available for advance sale. Among them are trading items that add a thrill of surprise when opened: hologram can badges, compact clear cards, and acrylic coasters. Each comes in five character variants: Sugimoto Saichi, Asirpa, Shiraishi Yoshitake, Ogata Hyakunosuke, and Lieutenant Koiden.
Other collectible items include BIG acrylic stands, BIG acrylic keyholders, die-cut stickers, and sets of illustration cards and bromides in three designs each.
Chibi character goods are also plentiful, featuring characters such as Lieutenant Tsurumi and Sergeant Tsukishima in the chibi style.
Purchase Bonus Lottery
Customers who spend 2,000 yen or more on related products at the event shop can participate in a no-loser lottery once per transaction. The A prize is a canvas board (2 types), the B prize is a complete set of 12 postcards, and the C prize is one random postcard from the 12 types. Presenting an Epocard grants an additional chance.
Box Purchase Bonuses
Box purchase bonuses are available at the event venue as well as at AMNIBUS & Animate. Depending on the purchased items, customers can receive a hologram can badge or a chibi character can badge.
Advance Reservation for July 31
On July 31, a portion of the day will require advance reservation via the LINE app on a first-come, first-served basis. Details regarding free entry after reservation and entry from August 1 onward will be announced on the special page and on X (formerly Twitter) as they become available.
