The next chapter of the Disney Twisted-Wonderland anime series is on its way. A new animated episode focusing on the Savanaclaw dormitory, titled Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation ~Episode of Savanaclaw~, has been announced for an exclusive streaming release on Disney+ starting December 2026. Alongside the announcement, a teaser visual and comments from the voice cast have been revealed.
Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a school adventure game inspired by the iconic villains of Disney films. The original concept, main scenario, and character designs are by Yana Toboso, the manga artist best known for Black Butler. The game’s unique blend of Disney villain essence and a detailed world set in a magic school has won it a large following.
The first anime adaptation, Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation ~Episode of Heartslabyul~, began streaming in October 2025. In April 2026, that episode was nominated for the “Best Isekai Anime” award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026, a major global anime event decided by fan votes.
Now, anticipation for the next installment has been building. The announcement of the Savanaclaw episode was made on July 27, the birthday of Savanaclaw dorm head Leona Kingscholar. The teaser visual shows Leona seated regally on a throne against a stone wall lit by an eerie green glow. He is flanked by Ruggie Bucchi, who wears a confident smirk, and Jack Howl, who stands with a sharp gaze. The tagline “The scheming begins.” and swirling golden magic, along with a shadow of the king of beasts on the wall behind them, hint at a turbulent story ahead for the Savanaclaw dorm.
