Ranma 1/2 Season 3 Premieres October 3, 2026 – New Key Visual and Cast Revealed Including Masako Nozawa, Jun Fukuyama, Mayumi Tanaka

The third season of the TV anime Ranma 1/2 will begin airing on Nippon Television Network and affiliates nationwide from October 3, 2026, with an exclusive streaming release on Netflix immediately after broadcast. Along with the announcement, a new key visual for Season 3 has been unveiled, and additional cast members have been revealed: Nozawa Masako, Fukuyama Jun, Tanaka Mayumi, Hayami Saori, and Tanaka Minami. Comments from the new cast have also arrived.

Ranma 1/2 is a martial arts romantic comedy manga by Takahashi Rumiko, serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 1987 to 1996. The series is also known for works such as Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Inuyasha, Kyōkai no Rinne, and MAO. The “completely new adaptation” anime, directed by Uda Kōnosuke and produced by MAPPA, first aired its first season in October 2024. The main cast, including Yamaguchi Kappei as Saotome Ranma, Hayashibara Megumi as Ranma (female form), and Hidaka Noriko (with the ladder-style “taka” kanji) as Tendō Akane, reprised their roles, generating significant buzz. After the second season aired from October 2025, production of a third season was confirmed.

The newly released key visual for Season 3 features Ranma, Akane, and Ryōga at the center, surrounded by characters who will appear in the new season. The illustration embodies the chaotic martial arts romantic comedy, building anticipation for the broadcast.

Broadcast and Streaming Information
