TV anime SPY×FAMILY is getting a character-themed osechi (New Year’s food) set. Pre-orders for the 2027 edition will begin on August 3, 2026 (Monday) via Bellmuse Net.
The original manga by Endo Tatsuya, serialized on Shonen Jump+, follows the super spy Twilight (alias Loid Forger), his telepathic adopted daughter Anya, and the assassin Yoru as they live as a fake family for a mission. The TV anime is co-produced by WIT Studio and CloverWorks, with Season 1 airing from April 2022, Season 2 from October 2023, and Season 3 starting October 4, 2025. The theatrical film SPY×FAMILY CODE: White was released in December 2023 and became a major hit.
The newly announced “Osechi・Two-Tier TV Anime SPY×FAMILY” is designed to evoke the world of the series, centered on appetizer-style ingredients such as truffle & lepan. It aims to be approachable even for those unfamiliar with traditional osechi or first-time buyers.
In addition to dishes inspired by characters—like Anya’s beloved peanuts—the set includes a nerikiri (sweet bean paste confection) sculpted to resemble the Forger family dog Bond. Character monaka soup and sweet potato treats are also included, making this a Japanese-Western fusion osechi set for the whole family.
