A new amusement prize item based on Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion is set to hit arcades and online crane games from the second week of August 2026.
Background
Puella Magi Madoka Magica originally aired as a TV series in 2011 and became a massive hit. The story begins when ordinary middle schooler Kaname Madoka encounters a mysterious creature, leading to a tale of magical girls born from wishes. Directed by Shinbo Akiyuki, with scripts by Urobuchi Gen (Nitroplus) and character drafts by Aoki Ume, the series earned widespread acclaim for its blend of cute girls, unpredictable thrills, and the avant-garde visual design by Inu Curry, all set to dramatic music by Kajiura Yuki.
In 2012, the TV series was re-edited into two theatrical films: [Zenpen] Hajimari no Monogatari and [Kouhen] Eien no Monogatari. The following year, [Shinpen] Hangyaku no Monogatari (Rebellion) was released, becoming the first late-night anime film to surpass 2 billion yen at the box office. Prize Details
The new multi box uses key visuals and scene shots from Rebellion. Two designs are available: [A Design] features Bebe and the Witch of Sweets, while [B Design] uses the key visual.
Inside, the snack is caramel cheese popcorn, inspired by Bebe’s favorite food—cheese. The sweet caramel popcorn is combined with salty cheese powder for an addictive flavor.
Stickers
The bonus “Kirarin Shizuku Sticker” comes in two types: [Soul Gem] and [Witch of Sweets]. These stickers feature a smooth, translucent texture and a puffy, three-dimensional appearance.
Soul Gem Lip & Cheek Charm Re-release
At the same time, a re-release of the “Soul Gem Lip & Cheek Charm” has been announced. This 2-way lip and cheek product adds a subtle color to lips and cheeks, available in two versions: Madoka and Homura.
The charm comes with a carabiner for easy attachment to bags or pouches, and the Soul Gem charm is detachable. The container features a silhouette of Kyuubee printed on it.
