Synopsis and advance scene cuts have been released for the first episode (Episode 1) titled “Umino-kun no Hatsukoi Aite wa Dare desu ka?”, which begins airing from July 8th, 2025 (Tuesday) for the Summer anime Kakkou no Iinazuke Season 2.
Summer anime Kakkou no Iinazuke Season 2: Synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 1 “Umino-kun no Hatsukoi Aite wa Dare desu ka?” have been revealed.
Kakkou no Iinazuke is based on the manga by Yoshikawa Miki serialized in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine”. It’s a “life intersection love comedy” that starts from the premise of “swapped children”. The story follows Umino Nagi and Amano Erika, who were swapped as babies and are now living together as officially recognized fiancés by both families, as they navigate their chaotic and disjointed daily lives involving those around them. In Season 2, the “four-way relationship” surrounding Nagi expands into a “five-way relationship” with the arrival of his first love childhood friend, and their destiny begins to move even more dramatically.
The first season of the TV anime, produced by Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP under Chief Director Akagi Hiroaki and Director Shirahata Yoshiyuki, aired from April to October 2022. For Season 2, Okurutonoboru will handle animation production under Director Hishida Masakazu. The cast features returning members including Ishikawa Kaito as Umino Nagi, Kitoo Akari as Amano Erika, Tooyama Nao as Segawa Hiro, and Ohara Konomi as Umino Sachi. The new character for Season 2, Mochizuki Ai, will be voiced by Hitsujimiya Hina.
Episode 1 (Episode 1) “Umino-kun no Hatsukoi Aite wa Dare desu ka?” Synopsis
“Tenkai House” suddenly has Hiro move in. The three, Nagi, Erika, and Sachi, welcome her, as she has run away from home due to fiancé issues.
Thus, their joint life with four people begins, and taking this opportunity, Nagi suggests deciding the division of household chores anew.
