Synopsis
Konno Makoto (voiced by Naka Riisa) is a carefree second-year high school student. Like many ordinary teenagers, she wishes her days could last forever—days filled with playful baseball matches and lively karaoke sessions after school with her two close companions: Mamiya Chiaki (voiced by Ishida Takuya), who just transferred in the spring, and Tsuda Kousuke (voiced by Itakura Mitsutaka), the brilliant son of a doctor.
However, one particular day turns out to be nothing short of a disaster for Makoto. She oversleeps in the morning, consistently fails her pop quizzes, and even messes up her home economics cooking practical. To top it all off, in a bizarre turn of events, she takes a spectacular tumble in the science lab while trying to uncover the identity of a mysterious shadowy figure. Later, on her way home, Makoto is cycling her bicycle, intending to drop by her aunt Yoshiyama Kazuko’s (voiced by Hara Sachie) place, when her brakes suddenly fail, sending her hurtling at full speed towards a railway crossing! Or so she thought… When she opens her eyes, she finds herself staring at the scene just before the terrifying accident. After hearing Makoto’s incredible story, her aunt Kazuko-san simply smiles, assuring her that such peculiar occurrences are common for girls her age. Makoto’s classmate, who transferred to their school in the spring of their second year. Chiaki is the kind of person who acts on impulse, often letting his hands move faster than his thoughts when trouble brews.
