The first ice show for the Touken Ranbu franchise, Touken Ranbu – ICE BLADE –, has unveiled a brand-new key visual featuring all eight sword warriors (刀剣男士) drawn specifically for the event. Additionally, a lottery for arena seat guaranteed tickets opened on July 31 at noon.
New Key Visual Brings Together Eight Sword Warriors
The illustration, titled Image on Ice ver., was created by the original staff of the Touken Ranbu ONLINE game. It captures the speed and sparkle of ice skating, with the eight warriors—Mikazuki Munechika, Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Yamatonokami Yasusada, Yamabagiri Kunihiro, Hizamaru, Heshikiri Hasebe, Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and Yamabagiri Nagayoshi—all appearing together. The visual emphasizes the “one flash” of the sword warriors as they glide across the silver rink. More solo visuals and other cast visuals are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
Arena Seat Guaranteed Ticket Lottery Now Open
From July 31 (Friday) at noon, a lottery for arena seat guaranteed tickets is accepting applications. This is an optional add-on for those who have already purchased or paid for a regular reserved seat ticket (19,000 yen). Winners pay an additional 4,000 yen to secure a spot in the arena area. Those who are not selected can still enter with their regular reserved seat ticket. A ticket resale will begin on August 30 (Sunday) at noon. Winners can either receive their purchased tickets or list them for resale. Resale can be for either the entire application group or only for accompanying persons. Details on the resale period and method will be announced later on the official website.
Show Details and Cast
Touken Ranbu – ICE BLADE – will be held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium First Gymnasium on October 3 (Saturday) and October 4 (Sunday), 2026. There are five performances in total: October 3 at 15:00 and 19:00; October 4 at 11:00, 15:00, and 19:00. Tickets are 19,000 yen (tax included) for reserved seats, with the arena seat guarantee option at an additional 4,000 yen.
The show features top Japanese skaters and voice actors from the original game performing as the eight sword warriors. The cast includes:

Additionally, Sakamoto Kaori will appear as the Ice Spirit, and the taiko performance group Kodo will also take part. Note that Maeno Tomoaki and Takanashi Kengo perform only on October 3; Masuda Toshiki and Ichiki Kouhiro only on October 4; Saitou Souma appears via recorded voice on both days.

Story
The year is 2205. History Revisionists have begun attacking the past in an attempt to alter history. The government sends “Saniwa” (spirit mediums) to each era to stop them. A Saniwa can awaken the spirits of sleeping objects and grant them the power to fight. These manifested tsukumogami, called “sword warriors,” throw themselves into battle to protect history.
In one particular citadel, guarded by the five elemental shrines of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, a special mission is underway: monitoring a “false book.” This false book distorts, rewrites, and devours true history. One day, a five-headed dragon suddenly attacks the citadel, destroying the shrines and scattering the elemental spirits into the false book. At that moment, the Ice Spirit awakens deep within the citadel… Can Mikazuki Munechika and the others rescue the elemental spirits from the distorted histories created by the false book? A new battle of the sword warriors, the “Ice Blade,” begins.
