The manga Kingdom is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special event titled “Kinkin Kingdom” at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA 1F in Tokyo, running now through August 11. The event transforms the venue into a “Warring States cool spot” for the height of summer, offering fans a chance to experience the heat of the series in a refreshing indoor setting.
As visitors pass through an entrance where characters peek out, they enter the “Kinkin Wind Chime Corridor,” lined with over 100 wind chimes. The corridor features cool sounds alongside fiery quotes from the series.
A major highlight is a life-sized replica of Ouki’s spear, which the protagonist Shin inherited. Measuring about 2 meters and weighing 18 kg, the spear can actually be lifted by attendees, letting them feel its size and weight. It also serves as a photo spot in front of a giant 20th anniversary logo.
The “Replica Original Art Gallery” displays 40 carefully selected replica pages from 20 years of the manga, including some shown for the first time at this event. Notably, a replica of the page featuring the Zhao general Bankyoku (from Weekly Young Jump 2026 issue 24) is on display, tying into the currently screening live-action film Kingdom: Soul of the Decisive Battle.
Attendees also receive a cooling item in a special vinyl bag, part of the “All Army Kinkin! Kinkin Item Combined Army” collaboration with Sea Breeze, Biore, and Gatsby. The schedule for the free giveaways is as follows:

All items are non-saleable and feature special Kingdom-design stickers. Available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The venue also sells 20th anniversary merchandise, including clear files, diorama figures, Ouki acrylic magnet collections, T-shirts, and replica manuscripts. Some items will be available for post-event sale. In addition to displays and shopping, there are exclusive photo spots and an original video packed with Kingdom history.
