TV anime Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) is getting a new wave of prize figures that capture the characters in a uniquely adorable light. Frieren, Fern, and Stark are depicted in a formal seiza (kneeling) pose, but with expressions that range from dejected to sulky. The figures are part of FURYU’s popular original brands “Nūsuto” (Noodle Stopper) and “Mochipiko,” and are rolling out to amusement facilities across Japan from July 2026, with the noodle stopper figures arriving in August.
Sousou no Frieren is based on the manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abe Tsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story follows the elf mage Frieren, who lived over a thousand years and once defeated the Demon King alongside the hero party, as she embarks on a new journey with new companions in a world after the hero’s death. The first TV anime season aired from September 2023 to March 2024, and the second season ran from January 2026. Immediately after the second season finale, a third season covering the “Golden Land” arc was announced for October 2027.
Now, FURYU’s prize line brings the characters to life with a focus on their expressive faces. The “Noodle Stopper Figure” series features the trio in a seated seiza posture, each with a distinct mood.

Noodle Stopper Figure – Dejected Frieren
The “shoboshabo” (dejected) Frieren figure captures her with a downcast gaze, lowered eyebrows, and hands neatly placed together, as if she is reflecting on something. The detailed sculpting includes her signature braided hair, white-based outfit, long ears, and the silhouette of her cloak. The overall effect is endearingly vulnerable, making you want to protect her.
Noodle Stopper Figure – Sulky Fern
Fern’s “mussu” (sulky) expression is brought to life with a tightly closed mouth and a straight-ahead stare that suggests mild dissatisfaction, yet remains charming. Her upright posture in seiza and neatly arranged hands reflect her serious personality. The figure also features meticulous detailing of her long hair, delicate hair ornaments, and the folds of her clothing, making her a standout piece in the series.
Noodle Stopper Figure – Dejected Stark
Stark’s “shoboshabo” pose shows him with his shoulders slumped, his gaze hidden behind his bangs, and his mouth slightly open in an awkward expression. His hands are placed on his knees, emphasizing the uneasy atmosphere. The figure faithfully reproduces his bright red jacket, shoulder belt, and gloves. When displayed alongside Frieren, the pair’s shared “dejected” vibe is especially amusing.
Mochipiko Mascots
In addition to the noodle stopper figures, the “Mochipiko” mascot series is also available. The first wave, “Mochipiko Mascot (1),” launched in July and features Frieren, Fern, and Stark in a chubby, squishy-faced style while retaining their distinctive features like long ears and hairstyles.

The second wave, “Mochipiko Mascot (2),” scheduled for August, brings back the original hero party that journeyed with Frieren: Himmel, Heiter, and Eisen. These deformed versions are a must-have for fans of the series. The mascots are compact enough to attach to bags, making them perfect for carrying around.
