The Keroro Gunsou saga all started with the manga penned by the unique mind of Mine Yoshizaki. The sci-fi comedy manga began its serialization way back in April 1999 in Shounen Ace magazine. Its enduring popularity is clear, with Kadokawa publishing the 34th volume as recently as August 2024.
The manga even made its way to international audiences, with Tokyopop handling English publication from March 2004 to May 2011, and VIZ Media later offering digital releases under their VIZ Select imprint starting in December 2014.

Mine Yoshizaki’s manga spawned a massive and long-running television anime adaptation. Produced by Sunrise, the Keroro Gunsou TV series aired for an impressive 358 episodes from April 2004 to April 2011.
