Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou Teams up with Shigoto Neko for “Chokotto Select” Items!
Collaboration items featuring Nyanko-sensei from the TV anime Natsume Yuujinchou and “Shigoto Neko” are now available! These are being offered through “Chokotto Select,” which allows you to choose your preferred color and size, sold on the anime’s official online store.
About Natsume Yuujinchou
Natsume Yuujinchou is a fantastical story about contracts with yokai, based on the manga by Midorikawa Yuki, serialized in “Gekkan LaLa”.
The protagonist, Natsume Takashi, is a lonely boy who holds the secret of being able to see yokai. Since inheriting the “Yuujinchou” (Book of Friends), an item left behind by his powerful grandmother Reiko, he has been pursued by yokai. Natsume spends his busy days mediating the “contracts” his grandmother made with yokai, often accompanied by his self-proclaimed bodyguard, Nyanko-sensei.
The TV anime series began airing in 2008 with its first season and has since continued up to the sixth season. Voice actors Kamiya Hiroshi plays the main character Natsume, and Inoue Kazuhiko plays Nyanko-sensei. The series also saw its first feature-length original episode released in theaters in September 2018, followed by a limited theatrical screening of two popular short episodes in January 2021. The seventh season, Natsume Yuujinchou Utsu, aired starting October 7, 2024.
The Collaboration: Nyanko-sensei Meets Shigoto Neko
This collaboration features Nyanko-sensei alongside “Shigoto Neko,” illustrated by Kumanemi. Shigoto Neko is popular for its iconic pose wearing a construction helmet and pointing, often accompanied by the phrase “Yoshi!” (Alright!).
The “Chokotto Select” collaboration items allow fans to choose their favorite color and size. The initial designs feature illustrations of “Nyanko-sensei and Shigoto Neko.” The lineup includes four items in total: T-shirts, Big Silhouette T-shirts, Kids T-shirts, and Tote Bags, utilizing a total of 10 different illustrations.
There are 5 designs for the “T-shirts” (each available in 8 colors), 5 designs for the “Big Silhouette T-shirts” (each in 2 colors), and 10 designs for the “Kids T-shirts” (each in 8 colors). For easy everyday use, “Tote Bags” are also available with 10 designs (each in 3 colors).

Size options include 4 sizes (S, M, L, XL) for both “T-shirts” and “Big Silhouette T-shirts,” and 7 sizes (100-160) for “Kids T-shirts.” The “Tote Bag” comes in one size (approx. 360×370×110mm).
