This time, we’re spotlighting a fresh twist on the popular villain reincarnation genre—one where the protagonist is not a villainess but an extremely arrogant male noble. The work in question is Kiwamete Gouman Taru Akuyaku Kizoku no Shogyou (The Deeds of an Extremely Arrogant Villain Noble), based on a popular web novel.

The fantasy series is a “villain reincarnation × strongest one-man show” tale. The manga is drawn by Mikurou, with character designs by Uo Denimu, and as of August 2026, two volumes have been published. The protagonist, Luke, suddenly recalls his past life and realizes he has been reincarnated as a villain noble from a novel. However, he can’t remember the details—only that a “ruin ending” awaits him. To avoid that fate, he decides to take on the one thing he’s never needed before: hard work.

An Arrogant Heir Who Must Learn to Work Hard

Luke is the heir to the distinguished Gilbert family in the kingdom of Mirestia. He has always been blessed with natural talent, so he never had to make an effort. But now, to escape his predetermined doom, he realizes he must train and grow stronger. The catch? His pride won’t allow him to bow his head to anyone of lower status, even when he needs their help. Watching him struggle to swallow his arrogance and ask his butler Alfred for swordsmanship lessons is both hilarious and endearing.

His attempts to phrase his requests come out as arrogant and kingly, making others wonder if he’s emotionally unstable. Yet his family—especially his father—are all eccentric in their own ways, adding to the comedy. What makes this series truly shine is Luke’s dual nature: he looks like a handsome hero, but when the moment calls for it, he flashes the sinister grin of a true villain. That blend of overwhelming strength, villainous charm, and a bit of fanservice from the heroines makes this a must-read.
