The TV anime Meitantei Precure! has unveiled a new visual for Cure Arcana, the transformed state of Mori A Ruruka, who previously appeared as Cure Arcana Shadow. The design shifts from a black-based palette to a white-dominant form, and her pendant also changes before transformation. The transformation phrase is revealed as “Shinjitsu o terasu shiroki hikari, Meitantei, Cure Arcana!” (The white light that illuminates the truth, Great Detective, Cure Arcana!).
As of episode 29, which aired on August 16, Cure Arcana Shadow belongs to the phantom thief group Phantom, opposing the Precures. How the story will lead to this new form remains to be seen.
Star Kiraring Form for Four Cures
New “Star Kiraring Forms” for Cure Answer, Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana were also revealed. These designs feature a large pink ribbon extending from a brooch on the chest, a purple veil, and star motifs, with matching rings. The forms were conceived by character designer Yano Akane.
Movie-Exclusive Future Form
A special form only seen in Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu has been disclosed: Cure Answer’s “Future Form.” The design, featuring light golden wings and a sleek, elegant outfit, was created by movie character designer Miyamoto Emiko. Forms for Cure Mystic, Cure Eclair, and Cure Arcana will be revealed at a later date.
Final Visual and Ticket Details
The movie’s final visual has also been released, showing Cure Arcana newly appearing in a composition that contrasts with Cure Arcana Shadow.
Character design movie ticket advance cards now include a Cure Arcana design. Sales begin on August 16 at various online shops and the Precure Pretty Store, among other outlets. Details are available on the movie’s official website.
New Ending Theme and Goods
Starting with episode 29, the new late-series ending theme song “Itsuka Wakaru☆Kitto Aeru” is now airing, and its non-credit video has been released. Additionally, Cure Arcana goods will go on sale on August 29.
