A Dream Collaboration: KING OF PRISM -Your Endless Call- Minna Kirameke! Prism☆Tours Teams Up with THE IDOLM@STER SideM!
It has been decided that the theatrical anime film `KING OF PRISM-Your Endless Call-Minna Kirameke! Prism☆Tours` will be collaborating with `THE IDOLM@STER SideM`. A special trailer revealing this exciting crossover has also been unveiled.
About KING OF PRISM
The `KING OF PRISM` series tells the story of boys who are captivated by Prism Shows and strive to become Prism Stars, facing various trials and difficulties along the way. It began as a spin-off of the TV anime `Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live` with the theatrical film `KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm` released in 2016. The series quickly gained popularity and is also credited with pioneering the “cheering screening” style in theaters, where audiences are encouraged to cheer, sing, and interact with the film.
In August 2024, `KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1-` was released in theaters. Following that, in October of the same year, `Motto Kirameku! KING OF PRISM -Dramatic PRISM.1-` began screening, featuring support for SCREENX and ULTRA 4DX, a first for Japanese anime. The series has achieved a cumulative attendance of 1.53 million people, showcasing its enduring popularity.
About THE IDOLM@STER SideM
`THE IDOLM@STER SideM` is the first game in “THE IDOLM@STER” series to feature male idols, with its service starting in 2014. In this game, players become producers at the idol agency 315 Production and take on the role of producing unique male idols, ranging from former doctors, part-time workers, and self-defense force members to students and other working professionals. Through activities like business activities, lessons, and live performances, players nurture their idols, aiming for them to become top idols.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in July 2024, `THE IDOLM@STER SideM` held its numbered live concert “THE IDOLM@STER SideM 10th ANNIVERSARY ST@GE ～P@SSION-ING!!!～” on July 12th and 13th, continuing to enjoy immense popularity.
Collaboration Details
This exciting collaboration is between `KING OF PRISM-Your Endless Call-Minna Kirameke! Prism☆Tours`, which opened on June 27th, and `THE IDOLM@STER SideM`. A special collaboration trailer was screened during “THE IDOLM@STER SideM 10th ANNIVERSARY ST@GE” held on July 12th.
The trailer highlighted “Passion” and “Kirameki” (sparkle/shimmer), keywords central to both series, and featured silhouettes of characters from both franchises. It concluded with the call “Puri puri Purizumu~”, building anticipation for this dream collaboration that transcends the boundaries between the two works. Further details regarding the project are planned to be announced at a later date.
