Original brand unify has released a new line of embroidered bags featuring characters from Moomin and Sanrio. The bags are now available at pop-up stores in two Hands locations: Hands Shinsaibashi and Hands Lalaport Fujimi.
The lineup includes tote bags, 2-way bags, and 2-way mini shoulder bags, each decorated with delicate embroidery of beloved characters.
Moomin Embroidered Bags
The “Large Capacity & Ultra-Light Tote Bag” (6,490 yen) features Moomin, Little My, and Snufkin in fine embroidery. The version with cooling function is notably thin and lightweight, and can be folded compactly when not in use. It includes an interior pocket for cooling packs, helping to keep contents cool for longer.
The “2-Way Bag” (6,050 yen) is a versatile design with a rope shoulder strap that can be tied to adjust length and removed entirely, allowing it to be used as a tote. It has a single interior pocket for minimal essentials, and a button at the top is engraved with a Hattifattener design.
The “2-Way Mini Shoulder Bag” (4,620 yen) offers more storage than a typical pocket, making it convenient for short outings. It’s recommended for those seeking an adult-cute Moomin bag or who appreciate retro-style embroidery.
Sanrio Embroidered Bags
The “unify × Sanrio Embroidered Tote Bag” (6,490 yen) is part of unify’s design-registered embroidery series, now featuring Sanrio characters. Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and Kuromi are gently rendered in embroidery. The simple tote has one interior pocket and is easy to use for daily errands.
The “unify × Sanrio Embroidered 2-Way Bag” (6,050 yen) comes with a rope shoulder strap that can be tied for length adjustment or removed to turn the bag into a mini tote. It has a single interior pocket and a button engraved with “Sanrio characters” at the top.
The “unify × Sanrio Embroidered 2-Way Mini Shoulder Bag” (4,620 yen) features Hello Kitty and Kuromi in embroidery. The removable rope shoulder allows it to be used as a tote as well.
