Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and the park is pulling out all the stops for the autumn season. The 15th annual Halloween Horror Night kicks off on September 11, 2026, and along with the scares, a fresh lineup of food and merchandise has just been revealed.

The big headline for 2026 is a first-ever collaboration between horror manga master Ito Junji’s iconic character Tomie and the event’s signature Street Zombies. Ito has drawn an original piece featuring the ever-resurrecting beauty Tomie appearing in the park as it descends into chaos with a horde of zombies. In the artwork, Tomie wears the same uniform as the newly introduced high school zombies from this year’s Street Zombies, and she’s holding a plush of Hamikuma, the popular park mascot for Halloween.
This special art is being used on a variety of items, including T-shirts and cosmetic keychains with charms. The merchandise will go on sale starting September 9 at Studio Style.

Ito Junji’s Comment
“Congratulations on USJ’s 25th anniversary. I’ve visited USJ many times with my family over the years. I enjoyed the fun talk of the guide on the Jaws boat tour and the thrill of the shark, and in the Jurassic Park area, the dinosaurs walking around the subtropical forest got my heart racing. In the Harry Potter area, I was just as excited as my kids. I’m honored to collaborate with Tomie at this milestone 25th anniversary. I wish you continued success!”
