The full details of the special Sendai event “The Homecoming of BLUE GIANT” have been revealed. The event will run from September 11 to September 30, 2026, at Sendai Station EBeanS and other locations.
BLUE GIANT follows Miyamoto Dai, a young man passionate about jazz who aims to become the world’s best jazz player. The manga began serialization in Big Comic (Shogakukan) in 2013, has surpassed 14.5 million copies in circulation as of June 30, 2026, and inspired a hit anime film. The latest arc, the New York-set “MOMENTUM,” is currently serializing.
The event celebrates the series’ connection to Sendai, where the protagonist spent his youth. The first announcement on June 24 revealed a newly drawn key visual by author Ishizuka Shinichi. Now, the second announcement details the exhibition, goods, collaborations, and more.
Exhibition at Sendai Station EBeanS
The main venue, Sendai Station EBeanS, will feature special decorations from September 1 to 30, including large exterior displays and interior decorations on elevators and escalators. The 3F event space will host a special exhibition with three zones: ENTRANCE, STORY EXHIBITION, and SPECIAL MOVIE.

This entrance area welcomes visitors with the newly drawn illustration by Ishizuka Shinichi, along with a reproduction of the original artwork. It serves as the prologue to the exhibition.
02 | STORY EXHIBITION
Large panels trace the story from the Sendai arc to the Tokyo arc, presenting impactful scenes and quotes that capture the essence of BLUE GIANT. The large-scale displays bring the music and emotion to life.
03 | SPECIAL MOVIE
An area where visitors can enjoy the series’ appeal through sound and vision, delivering the heat and dynamism of BLUE GIANT via video and music.
Original Goods
Original goods using the key visual will be available for advance sale at the venue, including T-shirts (four designs, 4,500–6,000 yen) and a tote bag (2,800 yen).
Collaborations with Local Businesses
Collaboration products with Sendai and Miyagi food brands have been announced. One example is the “BLUE GIANT × Aji no Gyutan Kisuke” beef tongue special “Dai” satisfaction set for 4,180 yen.
Stamp Rally
A stamp rally will take place across six locations in Sendai. Participants can stamp a single sheet with six different colored stamps in any order to complete a visual. The finished sheet can be used as a postcard and kept as a souvenir.
Purchase Bonus
Additionally, from September 11 to 30, customers who spend 5,000 yen or more (tax included) at EBeanS will receive a random original sticker (six designs) commemorating the event.
The official special site has been updated with the latest information. Admission is free. The main venue is open from 10:00 to 20:00 (last entry for exhibition at 19:30). The event is organized by Endo Chain Co., Ltd. Note that the stamp rally and collaboration product sales are scheduled to continue until October 31, 2026.
