The September 2025 issue of Hakusensha’s shoujo manga magazine “LaLaDX” hit the shelves on August 5, 2025, featuring the long-awaited final chapter of the manga Vampire Knight memories gracing its cover and lead color pages. Vampire Knight, a beloved manga series created by Hino Matsuri approximately two decades ago, continues to captivate hearts worldwide. After its initial conclusion, the highly anticipated sequel, Vampire Knight memories, was born from the fervent desire of fans. Now, with the release of the September issue of “LaLaDX,” this journey finally draws to a close.
In this climactic final chapter, Kuran Kaname opens the album left behind by the academy’s chairman, delving into the prayers and emotions woven within. “I want to see you,” a profound yearning that tears at him, betraying the “happiness as a human” that she wished for him. The feeling he tried to tear away and abandon, however, continues to burn within his heart, eventually leading Kaname to make a crucial choice.
Celebrating the Legacy: Cast Comments & Exhibition Announcement
To celebrate the conclusion of the series, the magazine features a special color insert with comments from the talented cast members who brought the characters to life in the TV anime and drama CDs. Fans can look forward to heartfelt messages from Horie Yui, who voiced Kurosu Yuuki and Kuran Yuuki; Miyano Mamoru, the voice of Kiryuu Zero; and Kishio Daisuke, who portrayed Kuran Kaname, as well as the series’ editor-in-charge. Furthermore, in celebration of the series’ completion, “Vampire Knight Original Art Exhibition: Hino Matsuri’s 30 Years of Artistry” has been announced!
