The TV anime adaptation of FX Senshi Kurumi-chan, based on the manga serialized in KADOKAWA’s Comic Flapper, is set to premiere on October 1, 2026 (Thursday). Alongside the announcement, the main promotional video featuring plenty of new footage has been unveiled.
The story follows university student Fukuya Kurumi, who dives into the world of foreign exchange trading to reclaim the 20 million yen her late mother lost. The series depicts Kurumi and her fellow quirky FX warriors—Mochiko, Mebuki, and Yasuko—as they ride the emotional rollercoaster of charts, in a cute yet slightly (!?) dangerous money game.
The opening theme, titled “FX Senshi Kurumi-chan”, is performed by Kurumi’s voice actress Suzuki Aina. The ending theme, “$・¥・€”, is also sung by Suzuki. Both songs will begin streaming on various music services from October 2, 2026 (Friday) at 0:00.
Advance Screening Event
An advance screening of the first episode with a cast talk show will be held on September 27 (Sunday) at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas. The event is titled “TV Anime ‘FX Senshi Kurumi-chan’ First Episode Advance Screening ~A Slightly Dangerous (!?) FX Anime Screening Starring Mellow JD!~” (rough translation). The talk show will take place after the 17:55 screening. Scheduled guests include Suzuki Aina (Kurumi), Seto Asami (Kogane Mochiko), and Ito Ayasa (Yamashi Mebuki).
