Golden Kamuy Spin-off Novel Bundles OVA
Great news for fans of the action-packed historical series, Golden Kamuy! A spin-off novel is set to include an original video anime (OVA) bundle, bringing more animated adventures from this beloved universe.

The spin-off novel, titled Tsurumi Tokushirou no Shukugan, will come packaged with a Blu-ray disc featuring the brand-new OVA. Mark your calendars, because this special bundle is scheduled to be released on October 17.
The main OVA episode included in the bundle will adapt the Inazuma Gotou to Mamushi no Ogin chapter from the story. As an added bonus, the Blu-ray will also contain a mini episode, adapting the charming Shimaenaga chapter. Together, these episodes will offer approximately 30 minutes of new animated content for viewers to enjoy.

About the Golden Kamuy Manga
The original Golden Kamuy manga, created by Noda Satoru, was serialized in the Young Jump magazine from August 2014 to April 2022. The series concluded with a total of 31 volumes, with the final volume published in Japan in July 2022. The series has been a massive success, boasting a cumulative circulation of 29 million copies of its volumes.
For international readers, VIZ Media licensed the manga for English release starting in October 2016, completing its run with the 31st and final volume released in January 2024.
The Anime Adaptations
Golden Kamuy has received several anime adaptations. The first three seasons were produced by studio Geno Studio, airing in Spring 2018, Fall 2018, and Fall 2020, each running for 12 episodes. The fourth season saw a change in production, with studio Brains Base taking over and airing 13 episodes in Fall 2022.
Fans outside of Japan have been able to follow the series closely, with Crunchyroll and Funimation simulcasting the first three seasons, offering both subtitles and English dubs. Crunchyroll continued to stream the fourth season, providing multiple subtitle and dub options.
