The official website for the television anime adaptation of Tsukiyo Rui‘s Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru light novel revealed additional cast, new staff, a key visual, and the first promotional video for the second season on Friday. The anime is set to premiere in January 2027.

Production and Release Details
The first season, co-produced by Silver Link. and Studio Palette, aired in 12 episodes in Fall 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles and later added an English dub.
Tsukiyo began writing the action fantasy series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2018. Kadokawa started publishing the novel under its Sneaker Bunko imprint with illustrations by Reia in February 2019, and shipped the eighth volume in August 2024.
A manga adaptation by Sumeragi Hamao has been serialized on the Young Ace UP web magazine since January 2019. Kadokawa released the ninth volume on February 10.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English in July and August 2020. The eighth light novel and manga volumes shipped on February 10 and February 24, respectively.
The first promotional video for the second season was also unveiled.
