About Go-toubun no Hanayome

Go-toubun no Hanayome, also known as The Quintessential Quintuplets, is a beloved romantic comedy based on the manga of the same name by Haruba Negi, which was serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine until February 2020. The story follows Uesugi Fuutarou, a top-performing student who takes on the challenging role of tutoring the beautiful Nakano quintuplets, who are on the verge of failing out of high school due to their disdain for studying. His mission: to guide them all the way to graduation!

The TV anime’s first season aired from January to March 2019, followed by the second season, Go-toubun no Hanayome∬, from January to March 2021. The movie, Go-toubun no Hanayome, which depicts the school festival, the final major event of Fuutarou’s high school life with the quintuplets, premiered on May 20, 2022, bringing the main story to its exciting climax. Following this, Go-toubun no Hanayome∽, which adapted original manga episodes not covered in the TV series, was released in July 2023, and Go-toubun no Hanayome＊, focusing on Fuutarou and the quintuplets’ honeymoon, hit theaters in September 2024.
