The TV anime adaptations of Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san and Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito have been confirmed, and both series will grace the cover and color pages of the October 2026 issue of Young Animal ZERO, set to hit shelves on September 9.
Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san
Created by Maruyo no Kamome, Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san follows 21-year-old office worker Mochizuki Mikoto, who—triggered by stress or hunger—indulges in hearty dishes like abura soba, sara udon, mentaiko rice, tonkotsu ramen, and doria. This ‘limit-breaking forbidden food gag’ has surpassed 1 million copies in cumulative circulation.
The October 2026 issue of Young Animal ZERO carries the latest chapter, in which Mochizuki faces a major crisis when her home air conditioning breaks down. Additionally, the fourth compiled volume is scheduled for release on September 29, complete with a special episode written exclusively for the volume.
Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito
Written by Aoi Sekina and illustrated by Tsudzura Ryo, Boku no Suki na Hito ga Suki na Hito is a ‘bitter-sweet romantic comedy’ centered on three characters—Sora, Asahi, and Miya—each carrying unrequited feelings that intertwine.
The series appears in the magazine with color pages, featuring chapters 46 and 47 in a back-to-back release. The story kicks off an extended night at Pilvi’s residence with a ‘scandalous sleepover.’ The seventh compiled volume is currently on sale.
