Suica Penguin x Hobonichi Techo Collaboration Launches at Tokyo Station With 14 Items

Suica Penguin is teaming up with Hobonichi Techo for a special 14-item collection of planners and stationery, launching at the Hobonichi Techo Store Tokyo Station on September 16, 2026. The lineup includes notebook covers, Hobonichi Techo Weeks planners, keychains, sticky notes, and pouches.

The new flagship store, the first for the brand, is located inside JR Tokyo Station’s ekina shopping complex Gransta Tokyo. It will open on September 16. Following the positive response to the initial announcement on August 3, the Suica Penguin collaboration items will also be available for reservation via the official online shop GRANSTA MALL from September 24 to October 31.

Two Notebook Covers Feature the Suica Penguin

The “Face” Original cover (A6) is priced at ¥4,290. Its black fabric features a large, cute print of the Suica Penguin’s face. The bookmark charm is shaped like the penguin’s feet, and the butterfly stopper—a signature Hobonichi Techo detail—has been redesigned into the Suica Penguin’s hand.

The “Odekake” Cousin cover (A5) costs ¥5,390. The beige cover displays the Suica Penguin prominently on the front, while the reverse side depicts the penguin taking a stroll. Two bookmark charms are shaped like the Suica Penguin and a baby penguin’s faces.

Hobonichi Techo Weeks Arrives in Two Suica Penguin Designs

For a lighter option, the Hobonichi Techo Weeks series gets two Suica Penguin editions. The “Tokyo” version (Japanese 3,190 yen, English 3,300 yen) shows the penguin posing in front of Tokyo Station’s Marunouchi building. The matte red-brick cover uses a glossy, raised print for the illustration.

The “Tokotoko” edition (Japanese 3,520 yen, English 3,630 yen) features the penguin walking across a mint green necktie fabric. The design includes the penguin striking poses, taking a break, and occasionally a two-shot with the baby penguin.

Stationery and Accessories to Complete the Set

The collaboration also includes a variety of stationery items. Among the eight pieces are the Hobonichi Techo mini keyholder (1,320 yen), sticky notes (770 yen), Tokotoko stickers (550 yen), Pukupuku stickers (660 yen), the small drawer pouch “Tokotoko” (5,280 yen), drawer pouch pocket “Tokotoko” (3,630 yen), stappo “Tokotoko” (4,730 yen), and stappo mini “Tokotoko” (2,900 yen).

The mini keyholder is a miniature reproduction of the Hobonichi Techo at about 1/10 scale, while the drawer pouches and stappo bags offer convenient storage for on-the-go organizing.

The store will be open from 10:00 to 21:00. Note that entry during the initial period requires a beforehand reservation (lottery). Online reservations are accepted on GRANSTA MALL from September 24 at 10:00 to October 31 at 23:59.
