The manga Funsou deshitara Hatta made by Tamoto Hiroshi is getting a TV anime adaptation.
The story follows geopolitical risk consultant Hatta Yuri, who travels the world to resolve conflicts. Using intellect, geographical insight, and rough pro-wrestling moves, she tackles border disputes, racial tensions, religious issues, terrorism, poverty, and criminal cartels. Dubbed “the manga that makes you understand the current world situation,” the work is serialized in Kodansha’s D Morning and Comic DAWS.

The original comics have surpassed 1.2 million copies in circulation. Volumes 1 through 19 are currently on sale, and the 20th volume releases on September 18.
Author Tamoto Hiroshi was born in 1976 in Tokyo. After working in apparel, advertising, and web design and direction, he changed careers in his late 30s. He won the first The Gate award for Teiji Taisha de Raifuru Shouto, and began his first serialization, Funsou deshitara Hatta made, at age 43.
