“Kisekoi”: Liquid Glue Trends!? New Character (CV: Murase Ayumu) Receives Torrent of Praise “Genius Genius Genius” “I’m Excited”… ED Video Also Released [Episode 14 Spoiler Reaction Summary]
Summer anime `Sono Bisuku Dooru wa Koi wo Suru` Season 2 aired its 14th episode on July 5th at 24:00 JST. The title of the episode was “Because you can equip breasts”. On social media, reactions like “You can equip breasts www” and “What does that mean?” were seen.
The manga `Sono Bisuku Dooru wa Koi wo Suru` by Fukuda Shinichi-sensei was serialized in “Young Gangan”. The original manga regrettably concluded in March 2025, before the anime’s second season aired, but the anime arrived even more powerful than the previous season.
The story depicts the deepening bond between Gojou Wakana, a male high school student aiming to become a kashira (head craftsman) for Hina dolls, and Kitagawa Marin, a popular girl who is always at the center of the class, as they connect through cosplay after a chance encounter.
The following text contains descriptions that may be considered “spoilers” for those who have not yet watched the series, given the nature of the topic. Please proceed with caution.
Before the broadcast, the original author, Fukuda Shinichi-sensei, posted a picture of a certain scenery. While it just looks like stairs, it’s actually the stairs located at Ikebukyuu Sunshine City in Tokyo. Ikebukyuu Sunshine City is famous as the venue for the cosplay event “acosta!”.
The first episode of Season 2 featured staff credits flowing within the opening sequence (a measure taken due to the main story’s large volume), but this time, the regular opening sequence was shown. Accompanied by Spira Spica’s song “Ao to Kirameki,” it quickly became a hot topic with comments like “Cute!” and “It’s addictive!”. Attention is also being paid to the staff credits subtly displayed on the background stairs and whiteboard.
Hama Yuuto-san, one of the typographers responsible for the opening animation, revealed, “Embedding credits within anime isn’t uncommon, but we wanted the staff names to feel naturally alive within the everyday life that Marin and the others live, so we thoroughly tried to make them blend in.” Credits are blended everywhere – on pedestrian crossings, on wall posters. Try looking for where everything is written!
Another hot topic is that the opening animation’s key animation was done by Kerorira-san alone. Kerorira-san was the character designer and chief animation director for `Bocchi the Rock!`, which was produced by the same studio, CloverWorks, as `Sono Bisuku Dooru wa Koi wo Suru`. Kerorira-san also contributed key animation to episode 13, leading to comments online such as “I feel that Kerorira touch” and “Maybe the train scene was done by Kerorira-san?”. For `Sono Bisuku Dooru wa Koi wo Suru` Season 2, Kerorira-san supports the production under the title “Team Support”.
Animation Producer Someno Shou-san also posted, “Kerorira-san has contributed not only key animation for episode 13 and doing the opening key animation alone, but has also put in great effort in all aspects of improving the overall quality of the work!”
Production Desk Umehara Shouta-san also mentioned Kerorira-san’s team support, writing, “Kerorira-kun is there to help when the director or I are unsure about a decision.” In episode 14, Kerorira-san also handled “Special Effects”.
After episode 14 aired, the music video for “Ao to Kirameki” was also released. Spira Spica’s vocalist, Mikiba-san, sings with vibrant energy!
Episode 14 Recap & Key Moments
Now, episode 14 began with a scene where Kitagawa-san (CV: Naota Hina-san) and Gojou-kun (CV: Ishige Shouya-san) were enjoying karaoke with their classmates, dressed in Halloween cosplay.
Sugaya Noa (CV: Takeda Rarisa Tago-san), who was passionately singing `Rock ‘n’ Roll wa Naridamanai` by Shinsei Kamattechan, suddenly asked, “Are Gojou-kun and Marin dating?”, causing Gojou-kun to spectacularly spit out his drink.

The inclusion of Shinsei Kamattechan’s song got the internet buzzing with reactions like “So hype!”, “A classic! Nostalgic!”, and “Gets me pumped up”. After the broadcast, a list of the original karaoke songs, illustrated by Sukegawa Hirohiko-san, was also released.
The day after karaoke, Kitagawa-san stayed home from school with a cold, and a worried Gojou-kun visited her apartment. By chance, Gojou-kun also ended up catching a cold, but after recovering, the two attended the “acosta!” cosplay event in Ikebukyuu.

There, Kitagawa-san and Gojou-kun met someone cosplaying as Hatsusegawa Subaru from the simulation game `Space Idol Cosmo Lovers` (also known as `CosLaba`).
When the PV for `CosLaba` was shown within the episode, online reactions included, “The quality of the in-anime works in Kisekoi is always high”, “They even put effort into the in-show works!”, and “Intense direction”. The special effects for `CosLaba` were handled by Kerorira-san.
The anime `Kochi Kan` that Gojou-kun was watching at the beginning of episode 13 was also incredibly detailed, wasn’t it? The voice cast was also luxurious, featuring Shimabukuro Miyuri-san, Takahashi Minami-san, and Hanamori Yumiri-san.
The person cosplaying Hatsusegawa Subaru was Himeno Amane, a college student. Amane-san is incredibly cute, but actually…

The voice actor who played Amane-san was Murase Ayumu-san. The internet erupted with praise like “Murase Ayumu-san is amazing”, “Genius genius genius”, “I’m excited”, and “It’s beyond amazing, it’s scary!!”
Then, Gojou-kun discovers “liquid glue” in Amane-san’s pouch. When Amane-san explained, “You use it to stick wig bangs and side hair to your face,” online reactions included “Liquid glue lol”, “The scene I wanted to see!”, and “Liquid glue is useful, huh?”. And “liquid glue” trended!
Using liquid glue for cosplay… and the words that came from Amane-san’s mouth were, “Because you can equip breasts.”
Ending Theme
Starting from episode 14, the ending animation was revealed. The ending theme “Kawaii Kaiwai” by PiKi features lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Nakata Yasutaka-san (CAPSULE).
The internet was thrilled, with comments like “The ED is super cute!”, “I feel the style”, “Nakata Yasutaka-san!?”, and “I thought it was good~ and it turns out it was Nakata Yasutaka-san”. A non-credit version is also available on the Aniplex YouTube channel.
