‘The Apothecary Diaries’ Maomao Rubber Mascots Announced in Standard and Garden Party Versions

Good news for fans of The Apothecary Diaries—Maomao is getting a new set of adorable collectibles. The Nendoroid Plus Rubber Mascot line is adding the beloved poison-tasting pharmacist in two versions: standard and Garden Party. Both are now available for pre-order at Amiami, with a scheduled release in March 2027.

The Apothecary Diaries: A Quick Primer

Based on Hyuuga Natsu’s mystery entertainment novels, The Apothecary Diaries revolves around Maomao, a young pharmacist from the pleasure quarter who becomes embroiled in solving complex incidents within the imperial court. The TV anime launched in October 2023 and quickly became a phenomenon. In 2026, a third season and the series’ first feature film are set to premiere, while a live-action drama starring Ashida Mana has also been announced, adding more excitement to the franchise.

Maomao herself is a peculiar heroine—her obsession with poisons and medicines is both a strength and a curse. After being abducted and forced into servitude in the rear palace, she saved the life of Gyokuyou’s daughter from poisoning, which caught the attention of Jinshi. She eventually became a poison taster. Now back in the pleasure quarter, she works at the high-class brothel Ryokuseikan. Her adoptive father is her uncle Ramon, though her biological father is the high-ranking military official Rakan. Driven by insatiable curiosity and a modicum of justice, she often finds herself tangled in dangerous affairs.

Mascot Details and Pricing

The standard Nendoroid Plus The Apothecary Diaries Maomao Rubber Mascot is priced at 1,500 yen (tax included), while the Maomao Garden Party Ver. costs 1,550 yen. Prototype production is credited to Matsuda Model. Both items are expected to ship in March 2027.

Because they’re compact rubber mascots, they’re far easier to handle than a large figure—perfect for decorating your desk at home or even taking along on trips.
