The Hikaru no Go Original Art Exhibition kicks off at Nagoya PARCO from May 23 to June 14, 2026. The exhibition offers a rare chance to view original drawings from the beloved manga, and also features a special collaboration kitchen car with character-themed drinks and desserts.

Hikaru no Go is the massively popular manga by Yumi Hotta (story) and Takeshi Obata (art), serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It introduced the world to the excitement of the board game Go. The story follows elementary school student Shindou Hikaru, who is possessed by the spirit of Heian-era genius Go player Fujiwara no Sai. Through Sai’s passion and the presence of rival prodigy Touya Akira, Hikaru gradually awakens his own Go talent. Despite the niche subject matter, the dynamic storytelling and compelling characters won over not only existing manga fans but a broad audience of all ages. A TV anime adaptation aired from October 2001 to March 2003, totaling 75 episodes.
At the venue, visitors can enjoy numerous original artworks. Meanwhile, a kitchen car will appear at the Nagoya PARCO West Building storefront event space, offering collaboration menu items.

The collaboration menu includes three drinks inspired by Shindou Hikaru, Fujiwara no Sai, and Touya Akira, plus two types of Go-themed pudding. Each menu item ordered comes with one random illustration card (8 types in total).
