Fans of Ghost in the Shell will soon be able to purchase exhibition-exclusive merchandise online. A selection of goods from the large-scale “Ghost in the Shell Exhibition Ghost and the Shell” — an event spanning all anime series in the franchise and held in Tokyo and Hyogo — goes on sale at ONLINE PARCO on September 28, 2026, at 12:00 JST. The online store will feature carefully selected apparel, accessories, and other goods that evoke the world of the exhibition.
The Ghost in the Shell franchise began with Shirow Masamune’s original manga in 1989, 37 years ago. Since then, directors Oshii Mamoru, Kamiyama Kenji, Kouseki Kazuya, and Aramaki Shinji have each created unique stories within the series. The exhibition marked the 30th anniversary of the anime productions, bringing together works from across the franchise for the first time. It also showcased the new TV anime Ghost in the Shell: The Ghost in the Shell by Science SARU.
Over 1,000 valuable materials were on display, including original drawings, setting documents, and storyboards, some previously unreleased. Interactive exhibits and installations co-created with contemporary artists and creators influenced by the franchise were also part of the show.

The exhibition, held in Tokyo and Hyogo, attracted 110,000 visitors. The online store will offer a portion of the popular items, including T-shirt 04 GITS/B, Hoodie 01 GITS/A, Rucksack 02, Blistaz Keychain 03 Tachikoma, nui charms, posters, stickers, Ring Notebook 02 GITS, and a reproduction of the script for Ghost in the Shell with a reproduced signature from director Oshii Mamoru.
