The prototype Knightmare Frame Lancelot from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is making its way into plastic model form with a brand-new mold. The HG 1/35 Lancelot is now available for pre-order at Premium Bandai’s Hobby Online Shop.
Code Geass: A Quick Overview
The first TV season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion aired in 2006, followed by the sequel Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 in 2008. Set in Imperial Year 2017, the story takes place in Japan, now designated Area 11 under Britannian rule. After gaining the Geass—a power that forces absolute obedience—protagonist Lelouch dons the mask of Zero and leads the resistance group the Black Knights to raise a rebellion.
The franchise has since expanded through spin-offs, manga adaptations, stage plays, and more. In December 2025, the Code Geass Project “To 20th” event revealed that a brand-new anime, Code Geass: Hoshioi no Asuparu, is in production, with further updates eagerly awaited.
HG 1/35 Lancelot: Meticulous Recreation
This new HG kit recreates the Lancelot using the latest modeling standards. The mecha’s silhouette, colors, articulation, and proportions have been faithfully captured. The Factsphere can be opened, and the included weapons—such as the Varis and MVS—are also newly sculpted to reproduce dynamic action scenes from the anime.
As a special model-kit exclusive, the Lancelot can also combine with the separately sold Zi-Artemis unit, adding even more display possibilities for collectors.
Pricing and Availability
The HG 1/35 Lancelot is priced at 4,950 yen (tax included). Pre-orders are being accepted at Premium Bandai’s Hobby Online Shop until the reserved quantity is reached, with shipments planned for December 2026.
The model is a 1/35 scale assembly kit suitable for ages 15 and up. It is made from PS and PVC, and no glue is required for building. The included accessories are: MVS ×2, Varis, Blaze Luminous, and Slash Harken expansion parts.
